this kit seems really reasonable for spoon stuff. anyone running it or know a friends roomates uncles buddy who is?

Its all factory honda parts. You can only run it if you have a B16B.

and how could it be all oem honda parts? how would oem b18 rods crank and piston fit a b16 block without punching through the head? is that the purpose of tech43's special pistions?

The B16B uses a P72 block just like the GSR and ITR motors do. The B16B itself uses much longer rods and slightly taller pistons than the other B series motors do.

i jsut saw this and it looked cheap for spoon considering their single valve springs are 518 bucks.

id like to put a gsr crank and rods in a b16a block and get pistons made accordingly to fit.

yea i talked to steve the tech43 guy via email and his kit sounds really good but id rather use gsr stuff than ls. i just dont like the idea of using non-vtec specific parts

all the spoon stroker kit does is turn a B16B into a B18C. nothing special. all oem 98spec ITR parts.
