Alright guys i think there's something wrong with my mini-me so i'm just looking for some help or guidance to a solution .

first off i drive a auto eg8 , I did a mini-me on . Ever since i did the mini-me i've noticed when you first take off there's a lag ( Not your typical auto lag , atleast in my opinion ) I'm just wondering could that be cause of a bad head or just my imagination . I checked and everythings hooked up and it's not throwing any CEL's so i'm just trying to check it out . Thanks in advance - Justin

 

timing? that happened before on my mini me. timing was a little off and made my car **** slow then at higher rpm's it like kicked harder

Thats the exact problem i'm having . did you advance or retard the timing (dizzy wise) or was it the timing belt ? it's been pissing me off lately lol , my cars been going through gas like no other since it happened

 

well i did it on my crx so i had to mod my dizzy to fit the z6 head.i adv. the timing 2 degrees and it made the biggest difference and i had a adj. cam gear that i advanced. i did the *** dyno with the adj cam gear though but it moved after that. good luck. need anymore help IM me
