Default B-SERIES headlift question

Okay here is the deal...

A couple weeks ago I was on the dyno and we completing close to 50 runs. On two of those runs, the overflow puked on the dyno. Compression in the motor is perfect. No oil in coolant, no coolant in oil. No smoking. The overflor suggests headlift but I don't see how on 2 out of 50 runs at same boost level. I am thinking maybe the motor became heatsoaked. I have ARP headstuds and a GE HG, with a stock cooling system. What do you guys think?

Yes sir, they should be. I torqued them initially when the Hg was installed and re-checked them a couple weeks afterwards.

have you had any problems since? I would thinbk your ok if the oil is good and compression is ok. Did you do a leakdown test?

The overflow only happened on 2 runs about 2 weeks ago. It never happens while just running the car. It is a drag car that I can't exactly just drive down the street. No leakdown test yet, don't have a tester.

Probably just boiled the water in the coolant system so it over pressurised and blew out the cap.

sometimes it just gets a little hot on the dyno and things happen. Sounds like you are fine.
