I was wondering if anyone knows how much the CRX wagon 4wd models weigh?
Please don't knock until you hear so of my plans i just need some ard to find info..

I don't have any info but I have thought about doing the AWD Civic wagon thing myself. Those things are exceedingly rare. I have one seen a handful myself. Would be a nice CRV AWD turbo/vtec setup. Would be nasty but expensive. Good luck.....
I'm assuming it's the 4WD Civic you're refering to. If so, Edmunds lists it at 2628 lbs. for a 1990 model. I don't know how accurate that number is, but it should provide a rough idea at the very least. HTH.

There is a Honda Civic Wagon that is being prepared for the ECHC to run in H1.
It will be interesting to say the least.
It's not THAT crazy of an idea.

I have seen one of the Civic AWD wagons with a JR supercharger on it. While it was not a screamer, it did turn some heads and freak some poeple out. Hehehe.
The AWD Civic wagons are pretty cool, imo. They are a little on the heavy side and I doubt that you'd be able to swap a B series engine into it b/c the tranny is designed to work with the D series engines. Might be able to put one of the SOHC Vtec engines in there and then go super or turbocharged. Interesting idea and something I've thought about before too
Also, you should be able to blot in a ZC if you want DOHC. Only thing to watch out for is the 6 speed tranny... I hear that they are fragile

I think my greatest HP gain was Calvin pissing on a Vtec badge on the back!

Apart from what everyone else has said... I'm interpreting that you mean "sleeper" by showing up at the strip with a wagon and bruising some egos.
I'm agreeing with what George said. The stock drivetrain likely can't handle the kind of power you need to throw at it to run that quickly.
As for the H1 Civic wagon... keep in mind that is not AWD. It will be FWD carrying a JDM B18C5 from what I last read.
BTW, theoretically you can "sleep" in any car... just depends how comfy you want to be. If you can fold the rear seats down in the wagon or something, I'm sure you could throw down a sleeping bag and be reasonably comfortable. I've done that with the Integra and it wasn't so bad.

I don't know, because sometimes you can't sleep in a sleeper. My Sentra SE-R is traditionally considered a "sleeper" because it goes faster than it looks, but it has a rollbar w/harness bar, so you can't recline the seats very far and therefore it's not comfortable to sleep in. So is it still a sleeper?
Interesting Friday afternoon "Miller Time" topic for sure...

Oh, and I forgot to add, but running 10s means you're going to have to have some sort of rollover protection in there, so that pretty much rules out laying down in the back.

TurboR481... you're an idiot for even spouting off at the mouth like that... He asked that nobody give him sh*t over this idea (which I think is still pretty cool), and what do you do? Just start firing at the hip about sh*t you probably don't even know anything about... .

I guess that makes us a bunch of morons for doing the wagon.
