Default AWD CIVIC H2D

Just curious to see if anyone has tried putting an h22 in a civic wagon awd using the h2d adapter plate. Would like to see somne info. I know the drivetrain is weak on this car and cant handle much power but it would be something different to put together. Opinions WANTED!!!!!

well im thinking if they had a D series motor the h2d should fit. i mean, i dont think honda would make their D's on wagons different because it would just be a waste of money making motors different for them.i could be wrong cuz i ve never had a wagon before.inplus like i said why would u need two types of D motors.lol. if they were different then engines would be hard as fu*k to get cuz they didnt make so many all wheel drive wagons to really say we got a healthy resourse of parts.

well I think it should work. My friend had a AWD wagon and the motor blew so he put in a new longblock from a 91 CRX Si and it bolted right up.

edit:
dont know how much this matters but it was an automatic.

First of its NOT AWD its part time four wheel drive ... It is not the same.

It will not even last with harsh driving, do you see all the mods they make for DSM transmissions?

Please cut the bull.

Well Unlike the lancer-evo Stuff...this swap is worth some time because its interesting...if you ACTUALLY READ the entire post ...which you probably didnt i clearly stated in my second sentence " I know the drivetrain is weak" ...i would like to do the swap just to do it ...not because i plan on going to the track and banging 1.7 60's on street tires....Open your eyes before you open your mouth

P.S. And i know all about shitty drivetrain and garbage awd or 4wd trannys
