Nology coil causing radio static?

Nology coil causing radio static?
hey guys, i put in my new nology profire ignition coil with the new cap (which i had to do some slight modifying to the bolt holes in order to get it to fit, they were about a cm off) but then ive noticed lately that the radio has a little bit of static all the time, is this normal? thanks.
