home made turbo.... its actually my third sohc turbo.... log manifold with a 300xz turbo, no intercooler just a straight pipe into the intake.

i have a vortec fmu and a fuel pump and thats it.

i can hear the turbo spool super loud and the car barely moves an inch. i dont have a boost gauge but that thing is wyinding up hella loud i even blew a head gasket. i replaced it in an afternoon and i checked to see if it was leaking anywhere and none... the car runs fine but this is not working... in the past 2 years i have had a b16, 2 h22's, 3 sohc's turbo... i have done this a couple times already but this is the first time this has happened. it is a non vtec 96 motor and im not sure its the clutch because itll chirp them in second but it does that without the turbo so i dont know what else to check.

i also removed the wastegate hose so it was boosting a grip and thats when i blew a head gasket. and it still didnt move.

so the hose is back on and this sucks...

the car is not detonating at all... i mean its not cutting of or anything... any ideas to why this thing isnt moving? thanks
