Default this is what happens with turbo xs

driving my car down the road yesterday and my turbo wasnt spooling up for ****. I figures i blew a intercooler hose or something, so im not worried. I get home start looking, and cant figure out where it blew, so i take off my charge pipe and my turbo housing fell off!!! the ******* charge side split perfectly in half. so my ghetto *** took the turbo off, got some jb weld, sealed it up let it dry over night. put it on today and it works fine. but is that not some bull ****? you get what u pay for

ooohh I thought you were talking about a turbo xs (boost controller haha) I was like "what the hell, how does a boost controller split a turbo HAHA " Now that you say ssautochrome, that explains it all but your title should be "this is what happens with ssautochrome" Sorry to hear about the turbo though.

1.) prices appeals to some people more than quality
2.) they think that it won't happen to them
3.) some are just new to the turbo scene and just don't understand
4.) some have never been on the H-T.com Forced Induction forum haha

But overall, if the housing was the be rewelded properly, (or what u have done) How is the turbo really holding up for you? Besides the housing splitting. Works good?

My guess is that most people are too embarased to pipe up. Most likely cause they bragged extentively about their insane 'deal', and then found out they just burned a few Benjamans.
