Default Blown turbo?

Argh, I got in my car today, on my way to work, spoolin up the turbo sounds HORRIBLE, I can hear it winding but when I get on it to where it should make boost, it doesn't make boost and the sound is just awful... I've been turbo for about 4 months now, no issues until this morning, what can I look for to confirm it's the turbo because its under warranty for maybe another month or 2 and I need to get it replaced if it is the turbo, my oil level is good, the turbo IS getting oil. I have a turbo timer and it runs for 3 minutes EVERY time I get out of the car no matter how long I've been driving... grr, so pissed, this is my daily driver and I don't know what i'm gonna do if I have to take the turbo off and don't have another to put on, i'll have to run the stock manifold open header cause the flange is cut off!

Anyway, gimme some tips to check and make sure it is the turbo, what could've happened, anyone familiar with my description?

take the intake pipe off, and check the play of the bearings and the clearances of the wheels.

Ok, shaft play on the compressor side is very minimal, clearance is fine, ive pulled off the filter and it spins at idle with no issues... there is no oil in the charge pipe so its not a seal, there isnt a trace of an oil leak anywhere. The only thing I can possibly think of is that maybe the turbo has seized but would it still spin??? Is there anything I can run through to free up the bearings or something? I'm at a loss here..
