Default Connecticut emissions swap problem

I have a 92 sir engine in a 98 ek hatch.I know thats already a problem. The thing is i have a p2t computer running everything.I went too do emissions and they cant even scan anything through the obd port.It just comes up as a error, and they printed me a emissions void.Im not sure what too do,even they didnt know. Now the car is just sitting in my driveway because even they dont know what too do.I believe possibly that it may be because its a obd2a body harness connected too a obd2b ecu?I dont know i bought the car liketis does this make sence?

in tx if we do an obd emission test (96 up vehicles) and it cannot read the port or whatever the case be we run an asm test (acceleration simulation mode-95 and lower vehicles) which is your basic tailpipe test... and if it passes that it gets a sticker... you might want to ask if thats legal in your state and if your car is running good give it a try
