My timing is off and i want to align everything correctly. How to u align the timing marks i know the cam sprocket has to be be at 12 o'clock w/ the up engraving but what about the crankshaft pulley do i go about the two white marks and the red in the middle or the white mark that is about 1in apart. This is on D16Z6. thanks in advance!

dammm!! my tdc on the crank is way off! The car would run sort of strong but wanted to stall, pop, stutter. So i used the timing gun but went with the red mark. i adjust the dizzy but its still off and now the laggs but with the same problems before. Do u think if i replace the timing belt(tensior still good) will the valves be okay!

Wrong, those 3 are for timing with a timing light.
- TDC
- 16 BDC
- 14 BDC
- 12 BDC
I think thats the degrees.

If your putting a timing belt on and need to set everything to TDC then you use the mark thats by itself (if you dont see white its just the notch thats there).
When your done and the car is running take a timing light to it and see what reading its giving and you use the other 3 to read.
