Default What Turbo should I get?!?!

Ok. So I am taking my car into the shop to get ls rods and vitara pistons put into my d16y7. I am going to be ordering a spoolin performance manifold and downpipe. I will be using uberdata as for my fuel managemant. The next decision is what turbo should I get? I would like to be able to make around 275whp at around 15psi. I was thinking a t3 with a 0.48 A/R and a 60 trim wheel. Will I be able to make that kinda power with tha turbo, or should I get something bigger. I do not want a t3/t4 however.

Because the spoolin manifolds come with a t3 flange. I could bolt up a 16g to the manifold I have now, but I want a new manifold. The evo turbos are a bit big. I would either go with a small or big 16g.

I could be wrong but I think the super 60s are good for that amount of power but at like 17psi. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You should be able to make 275 with a 48/60.

Just "make" it. Get a cheap *** 42/48 and find a .60 compressor housing and put them together.

Try figuring out your engine's pressure ratio and CFM at different RPM's, then you can map those values across the manufacturers compressor maps. Thet will tell you what turbo to use. Here's some information to help you do that:

yes, but you can find a 42/48 a lot cheaper than that. I paid like 100 plus shipping for mine.
