Running a t3 non divided mani w/ a twinscroll turbo..
Can it be done(obv..lol), how much will spool suffer by not having the divided manifold?
Or is my turbo not even twinscroll, it just has a divided housing? it's a holset H1C turbo
Only reason i ask is i currently have a regular t3 topmount manifold and dont want to get rid of it unless i "have to"
thanks!

it will bolt up as long as they are the same flange (t3, t4 etc) spool wont be as quick as it would with a divided manifold but you wont lose any power

yea i had a hx35 on a non divided topmount and i saw full spool at 5100rpm the next mani i built i made a divided topmount and i saw full spool at 4500rpms. but either way u will still make the power the divided mani will give u a slight edge in spool time. but it also necessitates the use of 2 wastegates

awesome that's what i was looking for, def worth it then to get the new mani
what style manifold were u running for the divided flanged on ur holset? topmount or bottom? im having a hard time finding a t3 twinscroll that companies actually advertise, other than a bryson bottom mount

There's not much to comment as you all know my feelings about true "twin scroll" design. Will it help? somewhat. Will it help for 300whp or so? No.
If you want to scrounge around all day trying to utilize topmounts and all that for better response, I'm going to let the OP have at it, and let him spin his wheels.

the only reason i even change up manifolds and watnot is because i build them myself. if it was a 1300 dollar price tag to gain 600rpm of spool i wouldnt do it. for me it was 145 dollars and some time in the garage,...
