T3 or GTiR T28 cant decide
Im stuck between which way to go, obviously the turbo choice also dictates my manifold selection
I have a HKS t28 manifold and plan to use a T28 from a Nissan Pulsar with a 0.63 compressor and 0.82 turbine A/R
I could however go for a nice tubular manifold with external wastage and a T3 turbo
Im aiming for about 300bhp, but would like capacity for more power later when i uprate the internals.
What sort of turbo is comparable to such a T28? My friend is making 270 @8 psi in his CRX SiR
Cheers

If you decide to keep the T25 mani, check this for your future upgrade:

All my research shows that the T3/T4 is quite a bit easier and more parts are available.

i'd go with the t3 much better turbo, plus there's an abundance of spares on volvo's , saab's etc and i think the internals are interchangeable with t4 components! correct me if wrong anyone!!!

Yeah i really fancy a nice T3 with tubular manifold etc. Packaging the install may be alot harder though. And a T28 install will be cheaper.
Im from the UK afterall
Thanks for the advice

well thats not a problem to keep a t28, cos surely the gtir owners must buy uprated turbo's without changeing their manifolds etc! just a thought!!!
