Please state your HP #'s and how long youve been running these axles. Thnx and did you break your stockies and the reason for upgrading.

alot of people run stock axels with 300whp as long as you dont drop it at 8k they wont brake.

 

DSS stage 5's on 650ish

 

400whp gator stage 2's thanks terry and stan
great axles

 

planning for 550whp+ and using Fidanza's

 

dss stage 4 only 300 hp. Been dropping it at 7k on 24.5 slicks for over a year. No problems.

I got them b/c I did not want to break and axle at the track and hold everyone up or even worse oil down the track. Plus I don't trailer my car so I want to make sure I can drive it home at the end of the day.

 

aren't you guys worried about breaking the differential? or the tranny? i put a hole in my transmission launching it hard . it hoppedreally bad though i had broken motor mounts

I run a quaife lsd and solid motor mounts with traction bars no wheel hop here. It is smooth as butter when I take off.

I am running a richmond spool and traction bars.

....I ain't scurreddd

 

stock axle on my D16... as long as you dont launch and get wheel hop... in most case OEM axle will be fine.

 

Stock B16 axle -w- 350-408WHP for a year or so. I always slip the clutch on launch.
