Are any of you guys running any aftermarket axles? Because I was told that the stock axles will hold up pretty good , but it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade , Im looking at making like 450-500 hp. I just wanted to know if you are running different axles if you liked them or not. thanks a lot

which stage would you suggest for 450 whp. i have a feeling my stocks arn't gonna last that long.

Edit: for 450+ definitely the stage 5's. I'm only pushing 326 but i know once i do alittle more for fuel i'll push the power where the stage 5's will be needed.

if anyone wnats i can get them pretty quick dss are makign some very nice axles now.. the stg5 will hold up to 27 28 inch tall slick with no prbs. the stg 3 is good to around 25inch tall slick and the stg 2 and stg 1 are pretty much good for stock car with drag radials and small slicks

 

My friend ran a set of dss stage 3's on a 26 tall goodyear with a welded diff and had no problems.
