Default H22 Turbo NEED HELP!!!!

ok i just got my turbo back on and im running rc 370's with th vafc, and i need to know if i have to make it rich or lean it out, it runs good up till like 5000rpm and then i just cuts out like it wont move, then the check engine light will come on. if anyone has used the vafc hack and can help me out i would really appriciate it. i know everyone is going to say buy hondata, i already have it but dont have money to get it installed yet b/c the local shop now says that 550s arent going to be enough to handle 10lbs on a daily basess or something liek that. but yeah if anyone can help me out on the vafc hack for now like i said i would really appriciate it. Thanks Guys

you can run the vafc but the car wont run really good get a wideband in your car if you don't have one already. and as for the hondata what's there to get the local to install? its' just a small blue box with a 2 plug wire for the clutch switch another 2 plug wire for the set button and a 4 plug wire that goes from the ecu to the hondata box and the data log cable. that's just the basic install it's simple. if you don't have a ecu like a p72 or a p28 just go to a junkyard the p28 might be eaiser to find there then just go to your local hondata dealer and get it sockted for like 50.00 and get a basemap while your there for another 20.00

Iam not going to race it or poound on it till i get the injectors and get it tuned. but to be safe and see once in a while how bad *** boost is what should I set it at.

Check and see what code you are throwing. I know on the VAFC that if you dont hook up the VTM signal wire it will run in limp mode right after you run it hard once. The thing is on the first generation VAFC, the instructions say that you dont need the VTM signal but then theres an update on their website saying that you do need it, which is the cause of that problem.

You can either up the fuel pressure on your FPR or just retard the timing to be on the safe side. If you bought a 'turbo kit' then everything should be fine because they all include some type of engine management.. weather it be a FMU with fuel pump or a piggy back computer like Greddy's blue box.
