ok I put a new starter in my car cause I thought the old one was bad but I was wrong. the engine wouldn't turn over and the starter would just click. the car was in storage for 6 months and I thought that maybe it was seized so I pulled the plugs out and dropped some oil on top of them and let it sit. Then when I tried to start it I could see the pistons moving slowly up and down so it's not locked up. I just don't know whats up. I double checked all the battery cables and they all have good connections. any ideas??
can you take a wrench to the crank pulley bolt and turn the motor over by hand? I was under the impression that the starter didn't have the juice to turn it over.

I tried 2 good starters, I'm thinking the rings are frozen and its just too hard to rotate for the starter.

Try push starting the car. When an FI car sits for a long time. alot of the fuel parts and sensors can get missed up.

well I'm pretty sure the rings were just frozen. I put some more oil in the cylinders, threw the plugs back in and let it sit overnight and she turned over great. thanks for the ideas guys
