Default Turbo is leaking oil from DP

I just installed a t3 turbo that a buddy gave me to use and when i went to start it up, after about 2-3 minutes oil started dripping like crazy out of the DP side. Checked drain line for kinks and no kinks. What caused this and is the turbo shot?

Junk turbo or blocked return line (which you already checked)

Cant be the return line, completly took off the return line so oil can drip into a pan and it was draining fine and oil still came out of DP side.

Will a rebuild kit fix this?

Maybe but you have to have the turbo balanced after taking the wheels off.

Might be cheaper to just buy something like this:
