Hey, i know this is not the right section but i am kinda in a bind here. I just hooked up my new manifold and I had to buy a new fan. Well now the fan will not turn on from the cars signal. If I give the fan 12v from the batery it comes on right away. Please help I NEED my car for tommorow.

i wired my slim fan to a switch.. i just let it run 24/7... maybe you can try somethin like that?

 

it should be able to work with the oem harness and fire right up with it

 

Cut stock harness, and Blue wire goes to blue wire and black goes to black. If you need a fan I have some for sale. Check sig.

 

fan motors are reverse polarity...means power and ground 1 way the fan will "pull" switch them other way it will "push". It should work no matter how u have it hooked up.

damn best instructions i have read to date..

 

Update, I hooked up the stock fan just to test and it would'nt turn on either. So, I must of blew the relay or something. the fan is setup backwards with the Ground going to the positive to make it act as a pusher.

Last night in a mad panic, I made my own relay with a switch in the car. This will do for now, next, I am going to try a relay.
