if u look at the ecu, u will see a dotted line surronding the circuit board on everything u need to solder in. u will need to put a jumper wire on J1, a 1K resistor on the resistor spot right below the jumper wire at R54. the color of this resistor bands are brown black red gold. u will need two .1uF or even .01 uf capacitors at postions C52 and C51. u will need a 73HC373 IC chip on the 20 pin position and a 28 pin socket on the 27C256 position.

here's a good link :

u might wanna think about run n uberdata which is a cheaper solution to hondata.

also if u r gonna be run n ur stock unchiped ecu for a while befroe u go with hondata, then dont solder in the jumper at J1. if u do then u will throw a CEL cuz u dont have the AT29C256 (replacement for the 27C256 chip) into the ecu

Hello

Thanks......

What are exact for capacitors?? (.1uF)

on my IC chip stands: 74HC373N this goes also????

You know still other sides, where everything step for step is explained.

Thanks
Nico

some people dont even put the caps in the C51 and C52 spots. they r just filtering caps. i have used both .1 and .01uF caps with ZERO problems. also u need that 74HC373 IC chip. make sure u face it in the correct locatios\ns. if i were u i would get a 20 Pin DIP socket and solder it in there instead of soldering the chip driectly to the ecu. u might burn the chip if ur not good with soldering! on the 74HC373 chip, there's a notch on the top of it (a small indented semicircle on the top of the chip). Make sure this side faces the Plug side of the ecu. just look at the rest of the other IC chips on the ecu and u will see which way it goes in.

and that site i sent u is all u need. it cant get any simpler than that!
