o-ringed block and cometic head gasket?

Default o-ringed block and cometic head gasket?

can i use a cometic head gasket with a fire wire on an o-ringed block, or do i need to run an oem hg?

you need the regular mls gasket, without the o-ring in the gasket, you can't use the one with the o-ring or fire ring in it

Thought you had to run a copper w/o-ringed block ?

any golden eagle block o- ringed or not cannot use that gasket...They are step decked and the head will not sit flat against the block. it will not seal and mix coolant.

I wouldnt use that gasket on any step decked or oringed block..its goinng to **** **** up

Make sure you use the Cometic HP gasket, I blow out the regular Cometic MLS gasket in a month, but the HP version will last a couple of years.

If your block is step decked DO NOT RUN THAT GASKET...I ran a regular cometic on a step decked golden eagle block and it held fine on 20 psi daily with an sc61...
tourque it to 79 ft lbs and your golden (80 ft lbs with orings)
