did i blow my tranny

well i just got my car all back togather and just put my stock motor back in

well i took it for a ride around the block and when i went to shift to second nothing happend i just rolled to a stop. we had to push it home and when i got there i checked the fluid and it was empty. so did i burn up my tranny or what. when i put it in gear and push it just rolls

how was the clutch? my friend burned his clutch to **** one night he couldnt even stall it if he wanted to

so more than likely i have a bad clutch because my motor sat for a little under a year or does it still sound like a messed up the tranny

If you messed up the tranny most likely it wouldn't go anywhere. The clutch is probably completely gone.

ummm yea I'm thinking if you had no tranny fluid then the tranny is more then likely fucked.
