sounds like it to me, if you have the time and a friend take the tranny off and see if it's ok inside, also check the clutch and flywheel when you do this. But if you said that you put it into gear and it wasn't moving then it sounds like either your tranny is messed up or your linkage is.

cousins did the same thing, didnt hotrod it or nothin, just drove to the gas station, shut it off, got gas got back in, didnt go anywhere, took it home tore it apart, clutch was in 5 peices.

damn clutch huh...well hopefully its that because it a whole lot cheaper getting a clutch then a new tranny

yep, sounds like the clutch started slipping real bad (rpm's going up and down), then nothing.

Were your rpm's going up and down or just the tack?

well my rpms were before my car died on me...then when i start it up it seem'd fine until i put it back into gear and i cant go anywhere...i just see my rpms move so as my mph...i can even release the clutch and it still doesnt die haha

act hdss is great, pick up an 8 lb flywheel too while you have access to it.

i've got a competition clutch on my b16 and it grips real good. it'll save your tranny alot of stress compared to ACT. but the ACT does grip better for racing.
