Default Which Valvetrain to go for in my situation?

hi guys.....am building a b16 head now and have a set of cams (GSR exhaust cam and ITR intake cam).....i was thinking of sending the head to portflow for port and polish and wanted to ask a few questions:

1 when will you guys fit these bronze guides?
2-with these set of cams where should my redline be set at and what valvetrain to go for? i did some searchin and i think i dont need to above 8.5k cause i noticed B engines dont make power above that rpm ONLY if they were use-ing such aggressive custom cams....and wondered if supertech valvetrain is overkill for my setup or i should go for portflow package with like ferrera valves?

by the way am going to use 91 OR and going to be GT30R boosted so trying to get the best power out of this engine with that cheap fuel! lol

Thanks for any feedback,
KM

If you are going to be using itr/gsr cams, why not just save some money and go with itr springs and retainers.. You will have a 9k rpm range at which point your cams wont be making power that high anyways.

i asked Geof at full race and he said that the itr springs and retainers are soft with boost and recommended manley or REV or Supertech.....i know he's right, but am just frightened to damage these OEM cams....hope someone clarify to me if i do the GSR exh/ITR int cam combo with supertech valvetrain that i wont damage my OEM cams when redline set at 8.5k! are they gonna be stiff on these cams....thats the question?
