the tps on my 95 civic dx is fucked up when it is hooked up the throttal will cut out even when the gas peddle is pushed to the floor when it is not hooked up car drives fine but idols a 2 grand

did you test the tps it should read about 4.5 and whats your question? if its screwed then get a new one

tested at 4.5 but still acts up question is will it hurt my car if it idols at 2 grand

it wont hurt it but..i like my car to run normal ya know

was the tps ever messed with before you touched it or did it happen after you messed with it
