Default NEED HELP: TPS problem

whats up honda tech... i have a weird problem with my tps sensor.. i plug in the s300 to my laptop, start datalogging with key on engine off and press the gas the tps reads perfect... then when i turn the car on and press the gas the tps gives no reading at all... it stays on zero... any ideas would be greatly appriciated..

Make sure the ecu is still connected to the smanager once your car is running.
If it is & everything else is reading live then check the voltage at the tps pin at the ecu to see if it is staying at a specific voltage or actually changing with throttle position changes.

i just rechecked to see if it was datalogging while the car was on and it is... i dont have a meter on me right now but what would cause that? how does it read perfect with the car off but when the car is on it doesnt read anything?

a friend of mine told me that the tps is bad but im still not understanding y it would work fine with the car off if its broken
