turbo boost???
I have a mini me swap in my 94 civic. I am trying to figure out how many psi i should run in the engine with my greddy t4 turbo. Does anybody have a clue as to how much my engine can handle with stock internals? thanx for yalls time.
Its all about tuning...but you probably have pretty high compression with your mini me head swap done. Just rememeber TUNING TUNING TUNING!! Take your set up to a tuner and see what they think. I would say no more than 10 psi though on stock internals.
why do ppl always ask how much PSI their motor can handle? they should be more concerned with how much power it can handle instead. you can have all the tuning you want but no tuning in the world will prevent your stock rods from snapping if you make too much power.

I think they can handle a LITTLE more than that. I think they can handle about 250whp. It also depends on the axles, for whp that is. BHP is another story.....

ive seen D series turbos hit 270's but think it was just for the dyno, i know he doesnt drive with the boost cranked up like that all the time. Daily was around 220-240
Actually some guy hit a little over 300hp. Check out these Dynos.
