Default SC61, stock jdmb16+ shitty vacuum line= not good

Well i took the motor down after blowing it at IFO and this is what i found. All thanks to a piece of **** vacuum hose running from my wastegate to the turbo.

the amazing thing was that the only thing that broke were the sleeves, the pistons were fine and the rods etc..... It hit no telling how much boost right off the line and it blew about 100 ft. before half track. No detonation on the pistons and the head was fine, its on a b17 bottom i got and running perfect right now.

No it didnt melt anything, like i said all that happened was the sleeves cracking. Cylinder #2 was cracked too but its not pictured.

Its my own fault, it was just regular silicon hose, if you use fuel line it will be okay

thats crazy...usually a rod or a piston goes before the sleve does... if tuned right, stock sleves are pretty strong

so running the vacuum line from turbo to wastegate isnt a good idea??? then is it better to run it to the intake manifold???

Running a max boost cut enabled in the software would have saved the engine since the reading is taken at the map sensor itself.

No you just run a good vacuum line or silicone line and secure it properly.

Actually, I have seen two cars with hondata that hit boost cut and blew their motors.... one of them being me, also cracked, well actually blew a 2x2" hole in the sleeves.
