installing water temp gauge
iam trying to install my water temp gauge but the sending unit wont fit in my water pump with out hitting the thermostat. does anyone know where a good place is to put it or will i have to get a electrical water temp gauge? thanks

I actually used one of the hoses from the eacv, just did a little rerouting. Works great, if I can find pics I'll post them up.

my sending unit is mechanical not electrical so the sending unit is about 2 inches long and about the width of a pen so the t wont work do u have any other ideas?

Um mine was that long to, so was a customers and they way worked perfect.

Go to your local parts stock ( not an autozone or pepboys ) or local store where 1 guy owns it, and tell him what your doing and he will set you up with the fittings. Your gonna need one way fittings ( barb fittings ) to slip the hoses onto.

Are you actually reading what I type, because I already explained mine was the same length. It was about 2 inches, get a t fitting and thread it in there.
See the long sending unit in the pic, thats the one I used. Yours might be a tad different, but if you use the same concept I posted, you will be fine.
