Help: Putting a 97 GSR complete motor into 97' EK civic/IAB Sensor addition. Using the DX harness, I know I have to run a seperate wire to the ECU for the IAB wire but, where does the other one go? Is it a ground or?

using a p72 obd 2 ecu. exact same one tha came with the motor.

 

BUMP plus...i would have used a Si engine harness would have made you a lot happier i think.

if its just 2 wires i bet the other is ground and the other goes to the ecu..not sure tho

as yours is obd2 you'll ground one wire right at/near the plug and run the other to the ECU as you have a positive trigger.
The easiest way is to take the plug with two long *** wires on it, figure out which should be 12v by taking both to the battery and listening for the solenoid to click.
Run the wire that you had on 12v in to the ECU and clip the other short and ground near the solenoid (doesn't matter but just for cleanliness...)

don't clip either wire till you know it's hooked up right...

I think the wire on the top of the plug (where the release is) should go to the ecu...
