Help: Putting a 97 GSR complete motor into 97' EK civic
alright i have everything wired up and i have no check engine lights. Now when I'm in v-tec once in awhile, my engine light comes on. I checked my pressure switch wires and they are correctly wired up, not backwards or else the CEL would show up right away. For the v-tec pressure switch wire, I ran 1 wire to the computer harness A and the other a ground. But my ground goes from the sensor to the inner cab body. Is this the reason why my CEL comes on during v-tec range? is the ground wire to long? I was jus gonna cut it and wire it shorter to the block. But, i dunno if this will fix it. I also notice the A harness side of the computer housing getting hot or warm after driving. I checked the internals of the ECU but no burnt components on the board, no brown showing or burnt smell. Solder components are all good on both sides. I don't have a scan tool. What's the method again of checking 97' ek obd2 codes and finding a list of them? anyone can help that would be greatful. thanks!

you should have a jumper harness in the passengerside kick panel. all you need to do is put a paperclip or a wire in it and the codes will blink on the cel light
