Default Anyone have experience with Alpine Type R subs??

I'm interested in getting 2 12" Alpine Type R DVC subs. Anyone have any personal experience with these?? I would be using them in a Q logic box (.85 cu ft for each sub). Let me know what you think about them.

Why do you need dual voice coil subs?

FLEXIBILITY!

So I can run 2 at 4 ohms bridged... Also, in case I find another Memphis ST1000d, I can run them at 1 ohm. I'd only get a SVC if I were going to run 1 sub or if I had an amp that maxed power at 2 ohms, which I don't.

You believe specs??

I bet they say they reproduce bass down to 20 hz too.

Don't believe everything you read in promotional propaganda.
