Default Swapped Hatch is acting funny

i have a B16 swap in my 90 hatch, and i have been having this problem for a long time, and i called the previous owner and he said that the car always did this to him to, its hard to explain but here goes:

when driving around in any gear, holding a constant speed the car will seem to be acting normal. the problem however becomes apparent when the throttle is barely cracked (basically the Free-play in the pedal is pushed out) and i start to slightly push on the throttle and i mean very slightly the car will have no reponse. if i stop there is still no response and it will feel as if the car is slowing down, but if i continue the car will all of a sudden will seem to "wake up" and take off.

Now i have already replaced the dizzy which was part of the problem, and i tightened the throttle cable a bit cause there was quite a bit of slack, and that didnt do it. My gut feeling is telling me that it is either the TPS or one of the O2 sensors. the previous owner did say that he replaced on of the o2 sensors and the problem went away for sometime. other than that i dont know what to say, please help me! Thanks

quick question for you, you say it's a swapped hatch, does it have the b16?? if so, are both o2 sensors hooked up and in the right locations, cuz if they're not, then it isn't going to run right.....check that to begin with

Your throttle body may me sticking. I had this problem with my ZC in my hatch. Take off the air intake tube and spray some "carb cleaner" in there to get all the crap off. Let it sit for a couple of minutes, then start up the car and spray it again until it look all clean.

what model hatch, dirty injectors/ fuel pump going bad, mine kinda does the same thing, partial throttle it kinda stutters but only while cruising, but when i get on it, it just seems to take off. I am guessing my problem is my fuel pump.
