here is the prob:when i am at a light, as i am letting of the clutch and giving it gas i hear like a click click noise, it does it for about 2 seconds and then stops and it only does it in 1st gear. if anyone could please help i would much appreciate it. thx

 

That just might be when you press and release the clutch, like the spring in it or something. I get some clicking sometimes when I just press and release not even changing gears. My friend has similar probem. If its that it shouldnt be a big deal.

My R makes the same noise when I let off the clutch in first gear. At first I thought it was a motor mount, but since then I've been told by numerous people its normal including by the Acura dealer. If you find out what causes this noise, please fill me in as well.

 

is it a single click? or continuous clicking for two seconds?
where is the sound coming from?
does it click when you are in gear and lift off of the throttle? or only when accelerating?

WTF...you figure that honda/acura develop such a good car as the R....and yet soo many people have problems with the damn vehicle...this really pisses me off... and on top of all that you get the dumbass mechanics at the dealer that talk total b.s. out their *** thinking they know what the problem is with car
