Default Maybe getting a C5, how much for my C1???

okay heres the link

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1158193

Looking at selling my GSR motor to obtain the ITR motor out of the R that 95stealth GSR is purchasing to replace the cone. He has the JDM ITR 98 spec modded so he'll transplant that motor and I'll buy the original motor. Thanks and just tell me what you guys think it is worth, thats all.

Who the heck knows, you "may" be getting a C5 motor, thats great; why post your link to the classifides for your GSR motor to us, asking how much its worth when we dont even have those motors.

I hope someone sees this thread and offers Stealth GSR more than you are so you cant buy his C5.

Way to be a TOTAL jackass. It all dependant on how much I can sell my motor for THATS IT. On top of the fact that the most knowledgeable people on this site come to this forum, regardless of what car they drive. Thats why ***. I'm not buying his btw in case you had actually read but the motor that will come out of the car he is getting.

All I am trying to do is get a gauging from the most knowledgeable honda owners. Thanks anyways.

Way to be "mature and intelligent" since the "most knowledgeable people on this website come to this forum", throwing insults is the best way to garner a good response. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nytemare &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

jackass.</TD></TR></TABLE> <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nytemare &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> ***.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I dont know too many people with a Type R that would swap out their stock motors for your GSR motor. That doesnt make too much sense now does it? You would have gotten a better response from the Integra, Civic, or CRX forums, since most of the ITR owners have a motor thats quite decent to begin with.

Then you say that I didnt read because <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nytemare &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

And if anyone reads it clearly states:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Nytemare &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so he'll transplant that motor and I'll buy the original motor. </TD></TR></TABLE>

You flame me by saying I didnt read when you stated contrary to the flame that in your first post you ARE buying his motor.

okay I am going to stop this from becoming pointless. However I responded to your mature

Regardless it has NOTHING to do with anyone buying swap... if you had read.

I am just simply wondering from what people had seen and what they knew what they thought was a fair asking price, thats all.

I have a question. Why do you want the C5 when you have a modded C1 anyway? Just seems that you have the basic things done to the C1 and wouldn't really gain much from going C5 now. Now the trannie would be a great upgrade.

Thanks for the questions. Yeah the trannie is a thing for me, as well as the compression and the lower mileage. My motor is the perfect running fun motor for really any car and perfect motor for a build up. It has perfect internals, hondata, Skunk2 IM, P72 head, legal, and a clutch that can easily stand up to being built. That being said I am in college and would simply like a reliable street motor (aka stock or close to) that I can drive until I graduate and get money to once again work on my car, moreover build my engine.

So, why didn't you just leave you're stock motor alone?

I was stupid, had a job, loved cars, and didn't have the forethought to get a lower mileage GSR, take out a loan (or ITR) and keep it stock. They say with age comes wisdom... well it did.
