4 wheel disc brake swap questions
Ok, I have a 93 cx hatch. I'm about to put some Integra GSR disc brakes all around. I've read the write ups, so I understand how to do it, but I have a few questions pertaining to the swap:
1. Do I have to bleed the brakes once the discs are on?
2.The brakes are coming off of a 91 EF hatch, will those e-brake cables work? If not, will my e-brake cables from my drums work?
3. Do I absolutely have to get an alignment? My wheel wells, and under-body are pretty dirty. I figured I could line up the holes where the bolts were originally with the imprints in the dirt. I want to do it right and I am willing to spend the money to do it right, but I was just making sure if its an absolute necessity.
Thanks for all the help guys. Any information or input will be much appreciated!

i imagine you have to bleed the brakes...any time when you disconnect a brake line and expose it to air....you must bleed the brakes afterward to get rid of it...thats for damn sure......
I really hate to be so blunt but
1. if you have to ask, you didn't read anything...
2. you just said you were putting gsr brakes on an eg now it's what?
3. yes you'll need an alignment
read these and then ask more questions if needed.

Actually yes, I did read and nothing in the DIY did it say anything about bleeding the brakes. If it was up to me, and I hadn't asked these questions I would bleed the brakes, and I would get an alignment, BUT since I only have a short period of time to get this done I wanted to make sure it's a necessity...you helped me out in absolutely no way with your "blunt", otherwise refered to ******* dick answers. Absolutely useless would be an understatement to describe your response to my fairly logical topic. Please leave the thread, and take your ignorant responses with you. Anymore usefull imput would be greatly appreciated!
edit: To also answer your useless response on #2, the brakes are GSR disk brakes. Ok?? Now that we have that covered, the brakes are on a 90 EF Civic..still following? goooooood....Ok now we are taking the GSR disk brakes off of the EF Civic, and putting them on my car which is an EG..I hope your still following...Some things require thinking.

HAHA me, the smart ***? I asked a few logical questions, and you gave me a smartass answer. One person has helped me so far, and it by no means, was you. My thread would have been much more useful for me and others who are curious, if you had never chimed in.

1. Yes you MUST bleed the brakes.
2. No & No. You will need 92-95 Si cables, or 94+ GSR cables (Si ones work better though).
3. You will need an alignment to keep your tires from wearing out quickly. If you put everything back where it came from, the car should drive pretty straight though...
