You really need to know how much boost you are going to run and what your base fuel pressure is going to be. The higher the pressure the less fuel a pump will be able to deliver.

So let say you are going to run a base pressure of 43psi and plan on boosting 25psi.

43+25 = 68psi

So your pump will need to flow enough fuel to support lets say 550hp @ 68psi of fuel pressure.

With a BSFC of .4 you would need about 40gph
With a BSFC of .5 you would need about 50gph
And with a BSFC of .6 you would need about 60gph

Most fuel pump manufactures have the flow sheets for their pumps that you can look at. now just see if the pump you are looking at can flow enough fuel at the given pressure you are going to be boosting.

I never could find a pump flow sheet on a walbro on thier website but road race had a few walbro pumps sent out to RC eng. for testing and you can find the results here:

http://www.autoperformanceengi....html

If you are too lazy to go through all of the numbers there a walbro 255lph HP can flow:
46gph @ 70psi @12 volts
and
56gph @ 70psi @ 13.5 volts

Now the turbo setup you are running paired with the VE of your engine will decide how much boost it will take to get to your 500hp+ setup.
