have a 01 gsr

will there be any problems with me running a 00 si ecu?

i'm pretty sure the fuel maps are different, i dont think you would want to risk it.

the fuel and timing maps shouldt be that much different.

the si ecu wont open your secondaries(more than likely you'll get a check engine light from this), vtec engagement will be in a different spot(rpm wise). fuel maps could be different, if you have to do this id put a wideband on the car to make sure your not running super lean somewhere. and i also belive(someone correct me if im worng) the si ecu has an immobilizer in it, so with out the key that matches that computer the car wont start.

what do you need a different computer for?
