OBDII emissions

Default OBDII emissions

ok i just failed my 6th time today and i want to know why. everything is stock right now. failed becuase ecu is not ready? ive been driving around for months still not ready? now i think something is wrong with my ecu. so what ecu will fit my car. i drive a civic 2000 ex. would an SI dohc ecu fit mine? GSR ecu?

try to borrow someone else's ECU and make sure it's the same as yours... because it may just be your ECU that's bad...but the gsr will go.. but you will throw codes with the ecu.. and same goes for the si as well I believe

will an ecu from a 96-98 civic ex work? someone told me it doesnt?

99-00 ecu are swappable. you can use Si but it will run richer and possibly set a CEL/MIL light on. GSR will be the same thing as Si.

try getting another ECU or if car is underwarranty check with Honda
