Default Compression Test on my 97 GSR

I had my friend who's an Acura Mechanic do a compression test on my car. The numbers came up....200-200-200-180. The car has got 60,000 miles on it. He says it's fine but I'm a little skeptical about it. Anyone have any input???

im pretty sure that is OK, just on the lower side of what most people with healthy motors get. I got 230 230 235 230 .. which was kinda high ?

210 across the board for me. Maybe try it again, or use a different compression tester?

I get 210 sometimes, 220 somtimes, I have even gotten 230psi across the board. Consistency between cylinders is what you are looking for.

if your compresssion is really low how can you fix it? lets say he got 180 in all cylinders would it be time for him to buy a new headgasket or new pistons?

prolly rings. a headgasket will make the comp drop around the pistons near the leak. if you have even #'s and the engine feels decent then your prolly ok

course if your replacing rings youd be an idiot not to do the head gasket too.

Those numbers are alright man, I wouldn't worry. If one of the cyclinders was about 50psi lower than the others then I would worry.
