okay, i know this is gonna be a dumb question. ive read enough about these obd converter harnesses. but my real question is, why would you need them in the first place? i mean, let say you have a ek and throw a obd1 b18c in to it, why would you need the harness? dont you just need to get the same engine harness, engine, and ecu? most of the converters that ive seen have you plug the engine harness into the converter, then you plug the other half of the converter into the ecu. but if you already have the same engine harness that fit into the ecu, why would you need a harness in the first place? is there another place that you need to use the harness?
