Whats everyones opinion on nitrous for the DC5?

 

you mean for the K20 Engine? cuz dc... ep... uses Kseries

as far as my opinion, k-series responds to spray fairly well and when i used it was was just a little rocket

 

not a lot of ppl nitrous on the k motors for some reason. it's always a good, cheap alternative to boost if you do it safely.

 

bunch of ppl are spraying safely. keep it 50shot or 75shot on the stock ecu if you're brave. make sure your RPM window and WOT switches are all working. some guy just blew his engine up cause his WOT switch malfunctioned and he was spraying while cruising on the highway.

if you get kpro and bigger injectors, you can run the dry kit and tune power w/ kpro

 

I am spraying (50 shot) with intake, race header, exhaust, and fuel rail.....never had a problem or even check engine light. Boost and juice is my goal

 

direct port is the most reliable way to boost, yet i is more expensive....personally i wouldnt use nitrous until i had built the internals just for extra security
