over the summer, my H22A1 will be undergoing quite a makeover...

The engine will be totally rebuilt and a custom turbo kit will be put on. I have heard of people running juice asnd boost, but i have never heard any stories from them. First of all, how much of a difference in power would this make (assuming a very low shot)? Second, I'm assuming you would go with a dry kit, as DP and plate kits would use too much nitrous, correct? I heard something about a Nitrous Express kit that bolts on the intercooler...any truth to this?

well from what I have seen H series motors dont really handle boost very well so good luck putting NOS on that bitch........

 

a 30 shot nos would be safe and good to spool up faster

 

im aware of my motor's bad reputation with forced induction... maybe i can be the one to break the mold, or i will go down in flames trying godammit.

Anyone else have any experience spraying with boost?

 

I actually ran 26psi + 75 shot today in a race and it works just fine. Make sure its properly tuned though. The Nos spools the turbo FAST! and it works wonders. The only thing with running Nos and racing is consistency can be off. Check my post in the kills today, I punched and It made all the difference.

WTF you should be runing alot faster with that set up. How big are your slicks?
I have a budie with a hybrid civic (GSR) with 75 shot of nos with the plate type r cams aem cam gears, dc headers,fuel preshure regulator and some more small sh*t, welded dif. his slicks are only 22". His best time was 12.1 not bad hey This guy is a nos frick this year is going with 125 shot with ported and polished head, stock block, I think is going to blow up but will see.
