"drag race spool" vs. lsd??????
does one replace the other and what exactly does a "drag race spool" do is it essentially a locking diff for both wheels???? how does this work and does it replace an lsd???Im rebuilding a transmission to for my b18c and it will not be a daily driven car so driveabilty is not a concern for the street but does this setup effect turning at speeds, the car is mainly straight line but turns are sometimes fun so i dont want to take that completly away.Sorry for the maybe stupid question but if someone could clear this up for me that would be cool.

yes a drag spool replaces a lsd. a drag spool is basically a locked diff both tires are always going the same speed so any other driving except straight line might damage your transmission, remember with a drag car the slicks limit the amount the tires can turn left to right, also they sometimes use stoppers to prevent the tires from turning to far left to right. Since you still want to have an all around car you would be better off with a conventional lsd.
