Better motor for turbo.. B16 or Straight LS

Better motor for turbo.. B16 or Straight LS
Now that I have my car, im thinking of what motor to put in. Theres no doubt im going to go turbo, so with either a LS or B16 in my price range which would be a better choice? I have a 96 EK hatch, and any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

ROFL.. haha who put LS1 man that guys probably pissed that no one took him serious 
but I'd vote for the whatever u can get that's more affordable to your Budget...and don't just pick the B16 becuz it has VTEC ..and please NO.. please NO don't pick the LS becuz it makes gobs of torque .. but look into how much u wish to invest and whatever would be more accesible in your price range

why dont just turbo your single cam,work with wat you got.
