On 93 pump gas? No. Even if he did, maybe just one or two run. Consistantly boosting like that, very soon, it'll just kaboom.

not on pump gas, even with the spray cooling things down, even with super low CR this would be difficult and extreme rich AF

i always thought that 22 is like the max you can go with for 93 octane?

and uh...i would check the car over before i spend 15 grand on it....guy's not giving specific mods and it doesn't soudn too right about 2 bar boosting

If it were featured in mags, you'd think he'd scan those pictures in as opposed to putting up his own photos.

I saw that car at an event at Englishtown, New Jersey. That car ran/sounded like ****, and I saw it run a 14. I think I might even have it on video. But this was during Summer 2001. He might have just had serious tuning issues, and worked it all out since then.

Wow, that's weird, I'm sitting here at work, and I just happened to grab the Euro car mag I bought at the airport a couple weeks ago and bring it to work with me. It's featured in Banzai Magazine, Issue 13. They have a website at http://www.banzaimagazine.com and it's possible they have a story/photos on there...

Yeah, here's all the mods listed in the mag:
Sleeved B16A DOHC VTEC, Arias 9:1 pistons, Crower rods, ITR cams reground to "Tuner M turbo-spec", AEM cam gears, head ported to "Tuner M stage 5", polished Garrett T4, HKS waste, Apexi GTR I/C, STR Intake Manifold, Tuner M throttle body, AEM Fuel rail, RC injectors (doesn't say what size), SX fuel pump, FPR and filter, Aeroquip braided hoses, nitrous system(that's all it says), RevHard manifold, Tuner M 75mm downpipe and exhaust w/Apexi N1, stock fuel tank and lines replaced by RCI 16 gallon fuel cell in trunk, custom engine mounts, Integra gearbox, Kaaz LSD, ACT Race clutch, Jun flywheel, 6pt rollcage, Momo Corse seats, Momo harnesses, Momo Race steering wheel, Sparco suede shiftknob, Accel DFI wiring loom, MSD Ignition(s?), 5 Defi dials mounted in gauge cluster, Greddy a/f gauge, Autometer fuel gauge, Apexi boost controller and turbo timer, 7x17" Volk Racing TE37 wheels, 215/40/17 Paradas, SPI Hardened axles, Apexi coilovers w/pillow mounts, polyu bushings, Powerstop crossdrilled rotors, braided brake lines.

Exterior: Metallic magenta paint, CF hood with "Phantom in NYC" mural, Showoff bumper w/extra molded chin spoiler, blended Racing Zone sides and rear, 75mm fender flares, rear bumper molded into quarter panels

Don't know if all that crap is still accurate, I just typed it out of the mag. The articles makes no claims about HP or ETs, I didn't even see anything about how much boost he's running. Looks sweet though...

hello,

yes its possible but playing a fine line. I did similar on the dyno with my FROG, somethign like 22psi on 93 octane ... I also had two ignition maps that I would swap when running 93 vs cam2 116. I only made about 451hp with the 93 octane.

Another thing, I noticed that he has that cool "JDM" 1 wiper windshield conversion.

Ask him to show you the dyno results..

I have a feeling he was spraying 150 shot nawz.

Jesus, what an ugly car.
