put in new O2 sensor but still cel
i put in a denso 4 wire wb o2 sensor and my check engine light is still on. the engine is a z6 with a p28 ecu. does it take awhile for the ecu to find the new o2 sensor or should it find it right after install.

OE honda is Denso

it should detect it right off. go to autozone and see if its the same code ...you could have replaced the wrong one...take it out and put it in the other slot

there is only one slot. the car is obd 1
