all right, this winter ive been getting my **** together and my mind is in so many places right now, i need an opinion and to just make sure i have all the right stuff
p72 head w/ crane stage 1's-are these aight for a supercharger w/o cam gears, even if i had cam gears, it wouldnt see dyno time for a while
b18a block w/b16 pistons
ARP headstuds and rod bolts
JRSC w/ FMU and CRV pulley
OBD-1 conv. w/ stock p72 ECU
AFC, 255FP, DSM 440's w/ resitor box
MSD 6BTM, boost retarding
JR water injection
YS-1 trans w/ ACT ext. PP and 6 puck disc
hasport axles
65 or 70mm TB----wich one?
what size and style air intake should i look for?????
I want to run 12 or so pounds tuned my self with just the AFC.Should i be using the FMU with the AFC, ive been hearing mixed thoughts about it.
Now rember, i have all these parts except for the last 2.Just tell me what u guys think, if im missing anything critical or any thing little a dumb that i might have just not thought of.Thanks guys

I'm really not sure about that boost level, especially on just an AFC, simply because the timing will advance a helluva lot when you add the fuel you think you'll use w/ that AFC, You'll definately need WAY better management. You're also going to run VERY hot towards detonation because you have no means stated to cool down that air charge that is being heated by the Supercharger. The MSD BTM 6 doesn't do a damn bit of good in this case because the timing retard is going to be needed in the higher rpm range. and that BTM is good only to about 6000rpm range (designed for domestics).
I'm am not trying to be a wet blanket or just to say "go turbo" but this setup from what I've used in my experience is not very realistic without several other components internally and electronically..
I would recommend rethinking your approach to this, seriously

just read up about the MSD, it statesd on their site and it says its good upto 8,000 and i bought it with a 8400 rev limiter.
The detonation part however, to make up for the advancing of the AFC, i have the MSD to retard it 3* for every pound and the water injection to cool the air temps.

first off running that high of a boost on the JRSC isn't a good idea with the good fuel management u are planning... if you going to spend that much money might as well get hondata.. also you would want to get a short ram intake with a 3" diameter and 3" exhaust all the way if you want the max power> and you would need to get that thing dyno tuned almost immediately if you going straight for 12lbs... just get better fuel management.. good luck

Better tuning (uberdata, hondata, ems, etc...) and that setup will be quite torque-full...(i was gonna say torquey but that didn't sound right, lol.) Good luck

ive had enough of people saying u need better managment. There isnt anyone who tunes anywhere near my area, and if there is, they probably dont have the reputation i would appreciate to have them tune my car.So if all ur going to say is i need better managment, just keep it to urself because i dont have the time and money to invest into better managment.Im not pointing fingers, i just dont want to read the same thing anymore, i want encouragement and ideas
sorry to say man.. it is the key for your car to run safely.. if you don't have the time and money to spend tunning it at 12psi on a JRSC you should consider another route.... why don't you just run the base kit for a while until you can save money(Tunning) and time so you can up it to 12psi.... honestly if you don't tune it your motor will be gone and a lot more time and money will be wasted...
