Need some pointers before I get my JRSC LS dyno tuned
I just got my JRSC for my LS two days ago!I found a good deal on craigslist. I have compiled a bunch of parts. So far I have a hytech style header(4-1 ,2.5'' collector) aem short ram, 2.5'' custom exhaust, aem cam gears, b16 tranny, b20 crank pulley. My question is im gonna get my teggy dyno tuned in the next week or so but im in california so I cant get all the fancy progams you guys have do you guys think the apexi neo AFC will do? Also what other upgrades would you guys recommend before I go get it dyno tuned? Upgraded injectors maybe? Thanks

Thats still not an OBD2 Ecu. Thats an OBD1 ecu with the OBD2 adapter harness built into the connector. He needs an OBD2 ecu to pass inspection. All he can use are piggy backs like Greddy Emanage, AEM FIC or Apex AFC.

Myou can run a jumper harness and a chipped obd1 ecu... just swap back before emissions and drive around. It's what I do
The main issue is that you have to have larger injectors to support the power the jrsc will make. It won't work on stock injectors. You also need an upgraded fuel pump.. a walbro 255 is all you need and they are cheap. .. again because a stock fuel pump won't be able to provide enough fuel
Do it right or don't do it at all. You can't run a jrsc with stock injectors and fuel pump. There just isn't enough fuel and honestly your tuner wouldn't waste his time tuning the car

I do know the aem fic, as a piggyback has more capabilities than the emanage and a much better support group online. They tend to go fairly cheap on eBay if you find one from a private seller

Nope..
But if you have the sticker for the supercharger then most refs are ignorant as to everything else that's been done to the car (usually)

Do any of you guys know what the actuall size of the stepper pulley is? I heard I'm better of running the stepper pulley over the b20 crank pulley.

endyn / mvm = + 12%
ASP racing = + 14%
if your trying to work it out
down load the calc from Veris site
" compression version " and plug in the right numbers
remember that you must watch the heat output and blower speed
also remember ring lands like to break on stock pistons above 12-13psi
